OK. Glad to hear you got it working the way you want though I would try to
explain to dumb boss that passwords are really weakened now which is will
make it MUCH more likely that your computers be compromised with a
worm/trojan or hacked if that would be a concern and guess who the blame
would be put on? Your boss? I don't think so. I don't know if your boss has
a boss you can talk to and I understand work politics can be a hassle but
gee is it really that hard to include a punctuation mark in a password? Can
I say WHINER??

No there is no built in way to have different password policy within a
domain for domain users. I don't know how big your network is or budget but
many organizations are using smart cards for sensitive user accounts.
Certain users can be advised to use passwords of certain length and
complexity but most [even a lot of admins] will conform to minimum
requirements unfortunately. --- Steve
