Is it possible to install cygwin to windows 200x so
that SSH users are given access only to specific disk partitions?
I would like to give SSH users access ONLY to D: -partition
of the Windows 2003 machine running cygwin SSH.
The other partitions should not be readable/writable with
commands like: "ls /cygdrive/c/" or "rm -r /cygdrive/c/*"
My hours of searching WWW -pages suggest the answer "No":(
This should be an issue of chroot, right?
Re: Windows + Cygwin question
No, I would not like them to have administrator rights.
I currently have two users created by SSH installation
program defined in windows:
1) sshd sshd privsep, that is disabled
2) sshd_server sshd server account that is enabled
I was hoping to use keybased SSH access to Windows machine,
but it seems I have to create separate user with limited rights
to restrict access to certain disks.
