I am looking for an option similar to AuthInteractiveFailureTimeout
of the commercial SSH Server. I want to set a delay after a user failed
to login. Does anybody know how to do that?
I use the openSSH daemon on Debian GNU/Linux.

Re: sshd delay after failed login
automatically throttle the connection rate to those addresses. By
contrast, the MaxStartups value could exploited to give blackhats
some privacy while they worked their mischief on a cracked box.
