New install of cygwin on my work computer running sshd. I've
configured it with mkpasswd, mkgroup,ssh-host-config....;
mkpasswd -l -d > /etc/passwd
mkgroup -l -d > /etc/group
ssh-host-config (yes,yes,yes,ntsec tty)
Problem is, I can log into the box just fine, but when I type ' id '
before I log in, I have a whole bunch of groups that I'm a part of.
however, if after I log in using ssh, I type ' id ' again, and about
half my groups are gone.
The reason I found this, and posting it here, is because I'm trying to
debug a problem where I can access all my network folders when I'm not
ssh'ed in, but as soon as I ssh in, I loose access to a large chunk of
folders... kind of like I'm loosing my permissions... incidentally,
when I type ' ls ' in a folder I should have access to, I get
