Got a simple question (I think) for people here.
I have a few computers, just for background:
Al - Fedora 3
Kolo - Fedora AMD64
My Desktop - Windows XP Pro using Putty
When I try to ssh from Al to Kolo, Al's output is:
[root@al ssh]# ssh -l root -v kolo
OpenSSH_3.9p1, OpenSSL 0.9.7a Feb 19 2003
debug1: Reading configuration data /etc/ssh/ssh_config
debug1: Applying options for *
debug1: Connecting to kolo [10.0.0.208] port 22.
debug1: connect to address 10.0.0.208 port 22: Connection timed out
ssh: connect to host kolo port 22: Connection timed out
My desktop can SSH to just fine to Kolo and Al.
Kolo can SSH to Al.
Kolo can SSH to itself.
But SSHing from Al to Kolo doesn't seem to work.
On Kolo, here's the output from SSHD:
Mar 1 18:18:39 kolo kernel: Inbound IN=eth0 OUT
DST=10.0.0.208 LEN=60 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=64 ID=65480 DF PROTO=TCP
SPT=40424 DPT=22 WINDOW=5840 RES=0x00 SYN URGP=0
So SSHD see's Al trying to connect... But it doesn't?
If I turn off SSHD on Kolo, Al never times out.
Anyone have any idea?
