using one client, but not another. All I ever get from the non-working
client is "Unknown socket error" and nothing at all in any log on the
server. Admittedly, the client that doesn't work is old, but it does
work on other SFTP-over-ssh servers I use it with, so there must be
something wrong with my setup, but I can't think what it is. I'd be
happy to post the configs of both, if that wouldn't clutter up the
newsgroup too much. They're both short.
Re: SFTP Problem
What's the client version and what's the server version...
Some of the newer ssh/sftp versions have had security tightened
settings which won't work against ssh v1 protocol or with stuff like
Digital had it then. Don't you wish you could buy it now!
