machine behind a firewall to a Linux machine with a fixed IP on the
Internet. I have several ports forwarded SMTP 25, IMAP 143 and 5900 for
VNC. All working well.
I have tried a port forward in the reverse direction. Session still
established from XP to Linux but setting up a port forwarded from the Linux
Machine to the XP. When I initiate traffic on this port from the Linux box
to the XP box, PuTTY on the XP box GPF's.
This looks like this bug
which I thought was fixed. I tried an alternate configuration with only one
port forwarded from XP to Linux. The GPF still happens.
Has anyone else seen this? Is there a Fix/Workaround
Thanks in advance
