Don't quote what you think is "relevant portion" of the debugging output;
you don't know what the problem is, so you don't know what's relevant.
The most common problem is that ~, ~/.ssh, and ~, ~/.ssh/authorized_keys
on an OpenSSH server must usually be writable only by root or the target

Well, I thought that portion was relevant because it is the only point at
which the traces differ. Also, I know what the problem is. What I do not
know is its root cause.
That was it: ~/.ssh in the server did not have the right permissions.
