I have been connecting from Putty to RedHat 6.2 successfully for
several years. Recently I have installed RedHat 9.0 and cannot get
Putty to work properly. I have installed the Pvt key in the SSH area
of Putty. I have stored the public key on the server and copied it
which is chmod = 644. When I do a plink it gives the msgs:
Trying Pageant key #0
This key matches configured key file
Keyboard-interactive authentication refused
I am able to ssh from one RedHat9.0 to another successfully. However,
I am unable to connect from either Putty or any RedHat 6.2 machines.
What am I missing.
Any help would be appreciated and probably keep me from jumping out
the window. Thx.
