there. (If no-one else uses your computer, I have no idea how it got
You could check in "Add/Remove Programs" to see if it's listed there,
but it won't necessarily be. If it is, you should be able to uninstall
it from there.
PuTTY is usually called "putty.exe", so you could search your hard
drive for that.
You told us in your email that it is running at startup. That's an
unusual configuration; are you sure it's PuTTY and not a related utility
such as Pageant?
You could look in the Startup group of your Start Menu; it might be in
there to cause it to run at startup. Failing that, AutoRuns from
sysinternals.com should be able to find where it's being invoked.
