Hi group,
I've been using PuTTY for a while to connect from a Windows box to the
firewall/router machine (OpenBSD) that's on the same physical LAN
(through a simple cheap switch), but since trying version 0.55, things
have gone strange.
Both plink.exe and putty.exe give this message, no matter what:
"Unable to open connection:
Network error: Connection refused"

This happens to any host anywhere, and needless to say, nothing's wrong
with either the network or the SSH server on the OpenBSD machine.
Absolutely no packets arrive there (I don't know if they're ever sent on
the wire).
Trying Windows' telnet to port 22 gives me the OpenSSH prompt and

There's no "personal firewall" or any such software running that could
filter based on program/process/whatever.
I'm at a loss.
Should I contact the PuTTY devs?

Thanks in advance,
