I've just moved a home directory for one account from one nfs server to
another and now public key authentication has stopped working. There
have been no changes to the ssh_config or sshd_config, and in fact pub
key auth is still working for other accounts.
So right away I was thinking permissions on the .ssh dir and files.
However they are all the same as the previous server with 700 on .ssh
600 on authorized_keys(2) and the private key files. 644 on the public
This account logins into several servers to do automated jobs using
keychain. On the first login I'm prompted for the password, then the
passphrase. On subsequent logins just the password.
What am I missing?
