Plink and pipes

I am trying to create a simple handy interface for accessing a remote
Linux machine over SSH and I do not want to have to code the whole
client + encryption myself.

I have looked for SSH clients to be used in my software and nothing I
got actually works.

I am currently trying with the PuTTy "PLINK" program. Since it is a
Command Prompt program, I have utilized my existing knowledge of pipes
to create an interactive screen for it that can be displayed outside of
the window of the running program.

I have tried this system of pipes on PLINK, but when it came to the
interactive prompt I got:

    login as:

Then the program became unresponsive (could be due to the pipe-routing
system I use, but this is obviously not working!).
