I have seen posts on this but no resolution.
Connecting from solaris 8 openssh 3.8p1 to solaris 8 ssh2 2.4.0
I've converted the public keys to ssh2 compatible format and placed
them on the server (and added it to authorization).
When I connect without a public/private certificate I don't get any
errors. When I use pub/priv. certs I get the following:
Disconnecting: Bad packet length 3113118525.
The length varies but the error is consistent.
I really want to continue to use pub/priv certs. Any clues would be

I have seen that caused by a buggy zlib used to build OpenSSH. You could
try upgrading and/or recompiling zlib then rebuilding OpenSSH.
