I use a tar-ssh-pipe to transfer data from a DEC-box (5.1b) to a
Solaris-8-machine. The data transfer seems to be o.k., but I get the
Warning: No xauth data; using fake authentication data for X11
I have seen this warning in this NG quite often but could somebody
explain it for an "ssh-newbie". And although the data transfer seems
to be fine, do I have to be concerned about the message ?
On both machines Open_SSH_3.7.1p2 is working.
Thanks for Your help in advance.
