Instructions for OpenSSH_3.5p1 ?

I have installed OpenSSH_3.5p1 On Solaris 5.6. Specifically, I have
installed these packages:




All three packages have installed successfully. From this point, I can
not find any README or INSTALL files. I'm looking for installation
instructions. Can you help me?

I would expect you would also need an OpenSSL package if it is not
bundled into the ssh package above (I doubt it is).

The repository you used to get the packages should have at least come
with minimal instructions as to where it would install the programs.

If nothing else, you can do "grep '/bin/ssh' /var/sadm/install/contents'
and see a list of pathnames that it installed.  They will likely be in
/usr/local/bin or something similar.

At that point you could try running the 'ssh' program and see if works.

SSHD daemon, and it may or may not attempt to create host keys.  If it
does neither, you need to do that by hand if you're interested in
running a server (rather than just the client).

These are both ridiculously old so I suggest you get a recent version
of Solaris (that comes with SSH already).
