I trying to use Putty for cronjobs on my website that way i can get it
to automatically do a back up of a certain file every first monday of
But when i try to put in my code after cronjobs -e i don't know how to
make it accept the command.
# execute every first day of the month
# at 1.00AM the guestbook script 'guestbook.cgi'
# with the directory /backup as the target output directory
00 01 1 * * cp /homepages/xx/dxxxxxxxx/guestbook.cgi /homepages/xx/
but i don't know what to do after this part. to initiate the command.
