Dear readers,

Using openSSH on Linux.

I was wondering, if it is possible to have sftp-server tell what files
it executes when a user connects to it?

Does sftp-server have a debug mode or could sftp-server e.g. be
started like "strace -e trace=open sftp-server > /tmp/log" ?

Lots of love =)

Depends on the version of OpenSSH.  Versions from about 4.4 support
logging in sftp-server with the -f and -l options.  There is also a
third-party patch for earlier versions that works a bit differently
(I think it's on sourceforge).
