Hi there,

I use Putty on my Windows Workstation and connect to OpenSSH on a Linux
Machine. In the session I open another connection (to another SSH
Server) by using the OpenSSH Client.

I want to connect the Linux Machine automatically to the remote Server -
without have to open a shell on the Linux Machine first. Any suggestions?

Kind regards, Thomas

If the only thing you ever do on the machine in the middle is ssh to the
remote server, have the administrator of the middle machine try changing
your shell to "ssh far_machine".  If that doesn't work, perhaps add that
command to ~/.bashrc as the last command in that file.
    Best of luck!
