I'm open up a shell using cygwin in WinXP. Then I log into *nix
machines using ssh.exe. My problem I think is below. I have a dev app
which tries to log in but *I think* it thinks that this prompt for
'connecting' is the prompt my ssh password should be sent to so ...
never connects or receives a reply and just times out.
Where it says the 'authenticity of the host can't be established' ...
is that because I'm ssh'ing to the WAN public IP on my firewall/router
and the router is masq'ing the assigned IP to 192.168.x.x? And my ssh
client still thinks it's the 188.8.131.52 (example IP) address?
Is there a way to fix this?
Any help or advice much appreciated.
