i often ssh to another computer and do it as a different user name
for example as user "johnq" i do
ssh somehost -l "someuser"
is there any way to tell in the new shell that i came from "johnq".
anything in the new shells "someuser" environment variables or anyway
to pass this info along... it would be very helpful because i would
like to set certain preferences in the when running as someuser but i
can't go changing somuser env variables because other people that also
use "someuser" don't like my settings...
