OpenSSH home pages, the way in which 3DES is used under SSH-1 is a
nonstandard variation of what is understood nowadays as 3DES in CBC
mode - essentially, in SSH-1 one uses three initialization vectors,
instead of only, as in standard 3DES-CBC.
I believe that, on the other hand, the 3DES-CBC usage in
SSH-2 is completely standard.
Can anybody confirm (or deny) all this?
