This is a perfect example of the power of the smartphone and new
technologies available today. I use my MPX 220 as a modem often.
Simply look on the web for instructions on how to use your cell phone
as a modem. There's a special number for Cingular (*99#) with a
username and password you must set up. Once this is done, your laptop
(or my iPaq) will use the cellular modem via bluetooth, to connect
cellularly to the Internet.
One of the techies here can probably give you a better technical
description of what needs to be done if you can provide your exact
make/model of your cell phone, your laptop make and model, as well as
your provider service for your cell phone.
Good luck!
