A site I created a couple of months ago is not turning up in searches
on any of the big three (Google, Yahoo, & MSN).

It shows in the local business part of Google's search, but nowhere else.
A search for the url only returns hits where I asked for help with the
site. Oops, take it back - just checked Yahoo again and it's there. Still
nothing at MSN or Google, though.

The site is <http://thomaselectricalservicesinc.com/>

The only bot I see in the site's logs is Yahoo Slurp. :-\

There's no robots.txt to prevent crawling.

What could be causing this? I understand that it takes time, but by now a
direct search for the url should bring up the site.

That's odd. I put up a new site on April 15th, and somehow Google
already found it. It's a personal site, so I did not submit anything,
only posted a couple of links here, as replies to problems. (font
sizing, etc)

Yes it is odd. Google says that none of the site's pages are indexed yet.
This has never taken so long before. For the life of me, I don't see what
the problem is. I guess I'll just wait it out. After all, Yahoo /did/
finally find it.

I don't know how much it helps but have you thought about making a sitemap =
and then submitting it to Google?

Also, the search engines may not like the tiny text at the bottom of the fi=
rst page saying the site is under construction - they may not think it's re=
ady for "prime time!"

Just guessing though...

Heheh, no, a sitemap for a three page site never occurred to me. ;-)
Anyway that isn't required for the engines to index a site.

I can't believe that has any bearing on the problem. Thanks for the
suggestion, though. I took that text down anyway as it seems stupid now.
I'm basically just waiting for pictures and testimonials at this point.
