Hello,
I'm using outlook 2002 / winXP.
I want to be able to sync my pda's calendar with my laptop, so I've
set up a new profile called "sync" in outlook.
When I go to the control panel to set up a new e-mail accout, I select
the "sync" profile, then click on the "properties" button, then on the
"e-mail accounts" button, but nothing happens, i.e., the dialog box to
add an e-mail account doesn't open. I must be missing something
obvious, but I couldn't find the answer searching the internet (e.g.,
microsoft.com, this discussion group). Sorry if this is the wrong
group.
I'd be grateful for any advice.
Ed

Hi Ed,

Would suggest you post this query to the Outlook Installation &
Configuration group:

microsoft.public.outlook.installation

In the meanwhile, after creating the profile, set it to prompt the profile
when you open Outlook. Then open Outlook and when prompted to select the
profile - select the newly created profile and see if it prompts you to
configure the mail a/c that way.
