Best thing to do is buy an out of the box solution. Few people these
days sit down and develop a store from the ground up because of the
problems you mentioned. I would buy these out of the box and quote that
to my customer. If I had to sit down and write a whole store myself I
doubt a customer would want to pay for it. ;)
