I am hoping that somebody with more knowledge than myself can help me here.
I wish to purchase a notebook computer that is more powerful than the
desktop that I currently have. Its details are as follows
Gigabyte GA8PENXP motherboard
Pentium 4 2.6 Ghz with HT
800 Mhz FSB
2 * 512 MB PC3200 RAM
128 MB Radeon 9600 Pro video card
Sony DRU510A DVD RW
2 * 120 GB SATA hard drive
The reason I need the notebook to be more powerful than the desktop that I
currently have is that I need to do video editing whilst out and about and
the desktop's ability to do this is what I would describe as only average so
I want more OOMPH on the notebook. Im totally confused with all the
terminology of mobile processors etc. and am yet to meet a salesman who
knows more about the subject than I do or who can be trusted. All advice
will be greatly appreciated
