rate this thread
pages on the services I offer. One thing that looks real suspicious
when I checked with the main search engines tonight (I do this every
once in a while to find if all my pages are still there) is that my most
important page is not present on any of the engines. Now, the other
pages are still present, so it couldn't have been a spider/crawling
problem. There haven't been any major changes to the missing page. The
missing web page had been present on the engines for at least a year and
a half, so I am totally confused why it would have been dropped while
the other pages remain. I had submitted the page to two free submission
sites in the past one to two weeks, so could that be the cause of the
dropped page; the majority of those were ffa sites I believe.
Generally, I don't resubmit to the major engines unless there has been a
major change to the page (or any page for that matter). FrontPage was
used to generate the pages if that makes any difference. The missing
page in question is at http://www.mid-wi.com/transcribe so if anyone
thinks there is something wrong with the page itself, I would appreciate
hearing what it could be. Thanks.
Re: Why is just one page missing from the engines?
Thank you so much for pointing that out because I just could not figure out
what was happening. I deleted the comment a few minutes ago and will resubmit
the page to the engines today.
Again, thank you for your help because it is very much appreciated!!!
