He has a load of pages that have been listed by google and others, and they
are ranked quite highly for his chosen search terms.
He wants to restructure and redesign the whole site as it has become 'messy'
with pages all over the place.
If he moves all the pages though then presumable google (et al) will drop
the moved pages from the index and he will have to wait to be spidered
again... or is there a better way to do this?
If he uses a redirect page in place of the old page will that affect his

Just so i understand - I get him to leave all the old pages there -
inlcuding content - and just put a h2 header at the top saying this page has
been replaced, with a link to the new page/homepage.
Its not that much work as he was going to redesign the whole lot anyway,
using keywords as paths and page names.
If anyones bored they can take a look at the old one - (apologies for the
design! ;) first attempt by him)- and if they can provide any hints or
tips?? The home page is ranked number 2 for his chosen keyword "vodka luge
surrey" so he's quite impressed with that and would like to keep his high
ranking and then get all of his other pages that high up too...
this could take him a while! ;)
