I tried to be sneaky.

I was forced to change the urls for many of our pages.

I left the homepage alone, hoping that PR would recover more quickly
(trickle through quicker? I don't know...)

No such luck, LOL.

Still got a strong homepage, but no PR at all on the rest after 6 weeks.

accessing the new pages?

If you added the new pages just after Google collected the data for the
last PR/Backlink update, then a six week wait is possible.  However, it is
not a major cause for alarm, because Google silently assigns a secret
hidden temporary PR to your page until the next update.

So, no visible PR, but you still receive traffic.

On the other hand, the Google toolbar keeps showing the wrong PR for many
of my pages.  It's disconcerting.  A better tool to view the PR of your
pages is
