I have a webserver that hosts many domains and is all database driven.
I am working on a beta site for a customer which will be hosted on my
production server and will be using the same aspx files as other
customers and running out of the same directory on the server.  My
applicaiton reads the host files to figure out what to display instead
of IIS redirecting to a different file.  I don't want this new beta
site indexed by the search engines.  Can I insert a robots.txt file and
have entries so that only my beta domain is blocked instead of all my
production domains:

For example:

User-agent: *

Would this be valid?
