I'm pretty new to search engines but I am having problems with our company's
website in terms of obtaining a decent ranking with Google (in fact our site
is not even listed at all in Google. But comes up top for Lycos and MSN or
any other engine not based on Google and that's by typing in our company's
We use frames but have been told that this shouldn't be a deciding factor.
Prior to a major revamp (about 6 months ago now) we used frames and our site
was highly ranked on Google, at least by typing in our company's name.
We have a very good amount of relevant links pointing to our site (from
national and international sites, government sites and directories) but when
I use the 'Link:' command Google is unable to locate any site that points to
