Question Regarding SEO

For the above link, should I create a hyper link in the content called,
"berkshires and link it to
the page called, "our listings?" Or shall I call it "Berkshires
Listings?" If so, would that page(our listings) rank well for the
keyword, berkshires?

I am trying to get the site ranked well under the keywords: remax,
berkshires, the berkshires,
remax in the berkshires, berkshires real estate and so on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Conceivably. It depends on the competition. It depends on what you
mean by well. It's a bit of an open-ended question, frankly.

I agree with Bill the subject is to broad and the factors to many to
give a good answer.

Although internal anchor text linking that you mentioned is a great way
to help out. The site that I did employed and has done
very well with ranking before I even started a linking campaign.

You can't expect to do just one thing and rank well. You have to use a
combination of many things for it to work out.
