- Question about google dance...

rate this thread
(which knocked us from a top 5 spot to ????), I made a few changes to our
homepage to see if it would have any affect. Since the change has been made,
Google has spidered our site again, and has the most recent version of our page
in its cache.
My question is, should I expect my site's position to change immediately, or do
I have to wait for a complete Google dance for any significant change in
position? Our page rank is 5 and I notice that a lot of the sites that show up
for our keywords have a lower or equal page rank. Keep in mind I am not
talking about changes to reciprocal links, etc. I am just wonder about the
timing of a web page content change with relation to the position algorithm,
once the page changes are reflected in the Google cache.
Thank you for any info (and hopefully I didn't sound to stupid:) )
