When a company's ad starts running on yahoo through overture...does it get
your page into the yahoo system, so if you cancel overture after a certain
amount of time, yahoo will still have your page listed in their index?

I could see how yahoo may not keep a site indexed, since that may take away
from their express submit plan.  People would just go for overture, spend a
lot less that way, than they would with express submit.

Overture placings on Yahoo do not stay in the directory once your listing is
offline.  For that matter, they are never in the directory to begin with.  It is
merely an advertisement on the Yahoo site.

Re: Overture Question

Hey Mike,

Thanks for the reply. I do have one more question however.  When I search
the keywords on yahoo that I have set, my site will appear once in awhile.
Other times it doesn't appear.  I have to actually resubmit my search
numerous times in order for the sponsored link to show up.  And then it will
disappear again, this even when there are no other sites using certain
phrases I am, and I'm the top bid payer for each listing.

In one of the terms, I have a supplier who shows up in the sponsored links
every time, and me only once in awhile.  But I'm paying more per bid than he
