(that's where I am) and to the rest of the world. There is a particular
popular NZ search engine which only indexes sites that are clearly NZ based
(so generally only .nz domains) and I am intending to optimize for New
Zealand keywords for both this domain and Google for my particular product.
I have purchased .co.nz and .com variants of the same domain and was
initially intending setting up two similar but different websites. The main
issue is that with such a large content base that will be the same between
the two sites I am concerned that this will be seen a spamming Google.
Am I better to therefore point both domains to the same single site and set
up a subsection which is optimal for NZ shoppers looking for my stuff? Even
though this will mean there are 2 distinct domains pointing to *exactly*
the same content will this affect my placement?
