from MicroSoft's search engine at http://www.live.com/
One log entry is:

I cut-n-pasted the exact URL with query string into my Web

The search results that I see are obviously heavily weighted
to the (non-US) country where I am located (by my IP address.)
Also, a check at ARIN shows the above visitor IP is in a range
allocated to MicroSoft Corp. There are also many log entires
before and after the above one, which indicate "msnbot."
So, anyway... is there some way to turn off the geotargetting for
live.com, so that I can see the same results as if I were in the
USA? Without the hassle of a proxy?
And also, does the above bit suggest that the live.com system saw
something suspicious, and alerted a human to look at the site?

variable for me defaults to "da-dk" ... However...
It seems to ignore if I try set it to some other value.
I will dig(g) into it more later :)
