I want to get listed in the French results for msn.fr and the Spanish
results on msn.es.
Seems to me domain names are important on MSN, so I'm assuming that the main
way would be to have a .fr and .es domain, which seem to have conditions
attached to registration and aren't cheap either. I was thinking it would be
more straightforward for me to to have a french and spanish pages under a
.eu domain, but has anyone managed to get a .eu domain listed on a country's
local search results?
I've heard that the coutnry where your hosting is could have a bearing too,
but I'd like to achieve this without having hosting packages in each
country. Anyone got any tips?

With regard to .fr it used to be the case that you had to have a
registered French company to use the domain; I read recently that this
is to be changed so that anyone can have one, however whether they have
actually changed the law at this moment, I don't know.
