How to Link

I have a website "A" with a number of incoming (reciprocal) links. I can put
all my backlinking references on website "B" instead, thus removing the
reciprocal element from the linking system of website "A", which would then
contain independent incoming links only.  Will it positively affect Google's
ranking attitude towards website "A"?  Thanks for your input!

Yes, even if you look at it from a mere PR point of view, you'll be giving
away less PR from site A and gaining more.

The jury is still out on whether Google actually looks for reciprocal links,
but if it doesn't at the moment it probably will begin to in the future.
And of course eventually Google will probably start looking for triangular
links too.

re: How to Link

Yes, that's a good technique.

In order to combat the triangular technique, create sites C and D and
split the reciprocal links between 3 sites - and keep all of them
away from site A.
