So, I added a Site Map link to my home page to give the Spiders the
HTML links, as well as folks who may have Java turned off.
Should the links on the Site Map page be full URLs
(http://www.abc.com/xyz.htm ) or just the internal path (xyz.htm) ?
Should the Site Map link be on the Home Page only, or on all pages?
I've seen it done all different ways.
Re: How to design a Site Map?
Absolute addresses look as though they can be useful if there are keywords
in the domain name. There was a query here recently about the search term
"fast car" - have a look at the source code for the site that comes up at
No1 in Google for fast car (not cars) - strikes me that a lot of their
position is down to the domain name being repeated in the links.
