- how to check the real regional serp?

I know,of course, that worldwide and regional search options usually
have different results, so when checking for site rankings it is good
to track both general and regional serp.
However, I recently read somewhere that regional serp are different
even for people located in different countries.
I mean , If you want to check your site ranking for google.com and
google.co.uk , you will probably get different positions, but if you
check your site ranking for google.co.uk being in UK , you would get a
different serp than checking google.co.uk from outside UK.
So it seems that a user ip is always involved in the search process.
So my question is, how one can check a site international ranking to
get the real serp a regional user actually gets from his local version
of a serch engine?
Is there a tool to let one check if his seo efforts have been
efficient for a particular search engine's regional version?
Re: how to check the real regional serp?
You know different databases will often give different results too?
You know that as personalised search becomes more common, the results
will become different from individual to individual?
Don't worry about it. These days the only question a client should ask
is, am I getting a ROI that's proportionate?
