It points to a directory (addon) in my main domain (say www.main.com).
This saves the expense of a new IP address. Browsers can access the
content of www.addon.com either by going directly to www.addon.com or
by going to www.main.com/addon.
When Google crawls www.main.com, including the directory addon,
presumably the content of the directory addon is cached under the URI
www.main.com/addon. Is this correct?
If so, when users Google a term that is in the content of
www.addon.com, they are referred to this site, but also to
www.main.com/addon. Is that correct?
If so, how can I prevent referrals to www.main.com/addon from occuring?
