When I search for a freinds UK website (.com) via google on a worldwide
search, the listing is good. When searching uk only, it cannot be found.
I suggested he buy another domain for his company ending .co.uk, and
re-direct from the server (uk2.net), but google would not find .co.uk.What
are his options
1. upload two copies(.com & .co.uk) of the website. Which adds more work
when editing and sbmitting to SE.?
2. A splash page loaded with meta-tag data and keywords in text. and
redirect say after 3 secs. Therefore submitting this splash to SE ?
3. take matter up with UK2.net?
appreciate any advice.
Re: google .com or .co.uk ?
He needs to change his host/server to a UK server. I'll bet he's on an
American host/server and Google.co.uk UK search won't list him.
I had the same problem so I changed to a UK host and was #1 for my
search terms THE NEXT DAY! So it's worth doing.
