Does anyone know if Google is planning on killing Urchin standalone
webserver stats and move to a purely Google Anaylytics solution?

Let us see...

* Picasa acquired by Google and becomes free, controlled by Google, now
converted/ported to Linux

* Keyhole renamed Google Earth

* Deja News feeds and becomes Google Groups *cough*

* Urchin renamed Google Analytics

Last thing I heard, a blogger whom I followed for over a year joined Google
and gives them Measuremap to provide blog statistics. That was just over a
week ago. I'm inclined to believe that Google can do whatever they please
with Urchin at this moment. I can't be sure though, so I can't make any
further speculations.

Best wishes,
