- Frame page, Hide Content from Search Engine

I am a newbie in this group. I hope someone will be able to help me
with the following problem that I currently have.
Just a couple weeks ago, some of the pages on my site were able to be
seen on the first page of google search based on a certain keywords.
However, as I made some changes to these pages (display more items),
none of these pages are displayed in the first page of the search
I've been thinking that the pages might have "keyword density" problem
since I have more content on the page which might not be relevant to
the page's keywords.
My approach to this problem is this:
+ I will place new content in a IFRAME within these webpages to display
new content. Would this be a good approach ? Will the search engine see
the content that I put in the IFRAME page ? (I want to hide the content
in IFRAME from the search engine to increase keyword density on the

First of all anything you do to cheat the search engines will get you
in the end and second of all keyword density isn't a big factor with
Google only MSN and Yahoo. Google cares more about links.
