I'm hosting a site on my home internet connection, a Comcast broadband
cable line. It's been there for several months with the same IP
address. MSN, Yahoo and AltaVista all acknowledge the twenty or so
back-links into the site and give me decent ranking for my key terms.
Google, however, stubbornly ranks the site as PR0 and does not
acknowledge any links.

My question, I suppose, is: Does the fact that the server's IP address
falls in a known dynamic IP range cause it to be severely penalized by

The PR that you are on about IS there. It is just not shown on the
toolbar yet. That is updated as and when. (normally around every 3
months or so)

As for the IBLS, google does not show them all, and again, only
updated at certain times.
