Windows Search folder path : C:\Program Files\Windows Desktop Search
Windows Search.exe : version 6.0.6000.16431
When I context-click on a folder and choose 'Search' : the Search
frequently will never stop properly even though no error message is thrown.
Search appears to hang after a while with the same filename being shown in
the status bar as the "current file."
Opening the 'Task Manager' window and selecting the 'Processes' Tab reveals
'explorer.exe' taking up 95-97 per-cent of bandwidth.
The only way I have found to get back to "normal functioning" is to kill the
'explorer.exe' process in the Task Manager and then shell out a new instance
of 'explorer.exe' from within the Task Manager.
thanks, Bill
