I had installed a camera software program on my computer, then had to
reinstall windows.... When I did this, it did not overwrite all of the
Olympus Master program already installed in my computer. I cannot get Olympus
support to tell me how to remove this software completely from my computer.
He did say something about the Windows Registry.....
I need to know how to find the correct registry item for this software, and
how to remove it from the registry completely so I can re install the
software in my computer. I am slightly literate on computers, but have never
messed with the regedit before......
When I open regedit.exe, I can go to find, type in Olympus, and it gives me
a list of 3 items. Only one of which shows Olympus. Is this the item that I
need to delete? Please someone help me.... I hate the fact that I paid for
this software, and the stinking company will not tell me how to remove it
from the registry....They call that the 'support' line??? Grrrrrr......
