MSFT, please take note.
this is a bug we found on WM5 Smartphones:
if an installed application's icon in in the "recently used" icon row on the
home screen, removing (i.e. un-installing) the app will cause a "blank" icon
in the home screen.
it should have removed the icon from the "recently used" row.
