i downloaded active sync remote display to use with my windows mobile 5
smartphone but on trying to open the program whilst synced to my phone i get
the message: the os or cpu of this device is unknown to this application.
anyone know why

Did you run the application on the desktop? Most programs you download
are designed to be run from the desktop, which then installs the
program on the Pocket PC.

thanks rob. yes i downloaded to my laptop from the windows site but got the
error message when i tried to run program there. on another forum someone has
told me this prog doesn't work on win mobile 5
